Most divorces settle before this stage of proceedings. However, if yours does go to a Final Hearing, the first thing we will do is look at your attitude to representing yourself in person, and discuss whether you will need to instruct a direct-access barrister for the day.

If you do go ahead as a Litigant in Person, we will focus on the key areas of your case so you know exactly what to expect. I will help you organise the essential paperwork the judge requires, including your Section 25 Factors Statement (which outlines your ongoing financial needs) and your final Open Proposals. We will also ensure your formal Court Bundle is indexed and presented exactly as the court demands.

I will help you look at how to present your position professionally and calmly. Whether you stand before the judge alone or choose to utilise a barrister for the courtroom advocacy, my goal is to ensure your files are meticulously prepared so you can face the day with total confidence.
